Vittorio graduated in Economics at the Rome University with 110 Cum Laude in December 1980 and joined the World Corporate Group of Citibank Rome in December 1980 working on a portfolio of multinational subsidiaries operating in Rome. In 1992 he obtained larger business responsibilities within the Corporate Bank and a more articulated portfolio becoming a Unit Head for the Italian North West area, and in 1994 was appointed as Director in the Global Corporate Bank. In this capacity he managed a more complex and larger portfolio participating into the bank's decision process with world-wide responsibilities in terms of marketing and credit for two major Italian multinational groups.
During his tenure he successfully closed major Capital Market Transactions in Europe, USA, Latam providing management with solutions that were tailored to improve the creation of shareholders' value.
In February 2002 he was appointed Managing Director of the Global Corporate and Investment Bank and till January 2009 managed the global corporate relationships with key Italian Corporates with credit facilities exceeding US$ 2 Bln co-ordinating the Marketing and Credit toward the assigned portfolio in over 35 countries.
After the subprime crisis, which led the bank to de-focalize from corporate clients he started current collaboration with Mit.Fin as Senior Strategic Advisor on corporate clients with specific focus on M&A activities, Capital Markets, Corporate Finance.
